About Me:
My name is Brooke Bivona (She/Her) and I am the new Editor and Publisher of Macaroni KID Gloucester!
I am a Gloucester mom and teacher who loves exploring South Jersey and connecting families to hyper-local events and resources. By day, I'm a middle school science and history teacher. But when the school day ends, I'm just like you—a parent trying to balance it all! I love gardening, reading, and in my spare time, you can find me hiking and fossil hunting with my partner Lu and three year old daughter Auri. I also have a soft spot for cozy coffee shops and the thrill of finding hidden treasures while thrifting. There's nothing better than discovering a hidden gem on a nature walk or curling up with a good book in the garden.
Macaroni KID Gloucester is my way of connecting with the community I love and sharing all the fantastic resources, events, and activities our area has to offer. Whether it's a fun family outing, a new hobby to try, or tips to make parenting a little easier, I'm here to help you make the most of your time together.
The next three months during our grand-relaunch will be particularly exhilarating as we re-ignite engagement and excitement with our current subscribers while quickly growing our reader base and it will be a great time to reach audiences. I'm very excited to work with all of our local businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to share their events on our site!
